Dillan was born in 1988, the youngest of five children of Herschel and Margana Wengart. Being a private person, quiet, somewhat distant and loving solitude, however Dillan proved himself friendly and helpful to others, having an attitude of gratitude.
Dillan graduated from high school in 2006 and enlisted in the Air Force as a helicopter pilot from 2006 to 2010. He lived with his Air Force buddies in a group bachelor pad in Great Falls, MT and helped his dad, Herschel, plan and build his sister Shelli’s and her husband Nick's new home on weekends. It was there that he realized his dream of becoming an architect.
Dillan attended UC Berkeley in San Francisco from 2010 to 2014, staying at Josie and Billy's home, his sister and brother-in-law, on weekends in Napa Valley, only 90 minutes away from campus. He graduated with an architectural degree in 2014 and joined a prestigious architectural firm in New York in 2015 at 27 years old. As years went by, continuing to enhance his design skills in New York, Dillan made the move to starting his own company with two friends from UC Berkeley.
Dillan loved the single life and dated many beautiful women but never found the right one for him. He was truly married to his work as a famous architect and author of many architectural design books. He wanted to be loved for himself alone, not because of his or his family’s money, or his devastatingly good looks. That is, until, at 48 years old, Dillan met and married a pretty Scottish interior designer named Courtnay Ivanov. She was the mother of teenagers, a daughter and a son, being recently widowed, the wife of a Russian diplomat. As he did nearly every holiday season throughout his adult life, Dillan returned to his parents’ home to introduce his bride and children to his large family.
The words that sum up Dillan's stature and bearing is "Prince Charming" at 6’1”. His physical traits are a tanned physique, manicured hands, perfect teeth, a shiny brunette haircut, (sometimes short and other times long ), and steely blue eyes. In other words, Drop Dead Gorgeous, favoring Julia and Larmon, his maternal grandparents. Dillan's style is GQ, casual elegance, like his grandmother, Julia. Dillan is in excellent health, watching his weight with outdoor sports and preparing healthy meals. He loves to cook just like his paternal grandmother, Sharon. He plays tennis, golf, goes hiking and loves reading good books. His abilities are in art, construction and building things (like Legos as a child). His talents are: playing a mean trombone, a beautiful tenor voice, the ability to set people at ease, and creating outstanding sculpture pieces.
Dedicated to excellence, he's intense, almost brooding. He has a long fuse but goes really quiet when he gets angry. Dillan is pensive, a deep thinker, logical, highly intelligent with controlled energy. He likes to be alone, to be hugged and cherished by someone he trusts, and dislikes sloppy people who are liars, lacking transparency. As to his relationship with others, his best friend is his brother, Marcus, and he joins in at family football games.
Whenever Dillan is troubled or needing advice, he goes to Margana, his mother, or to Julia her mother, and his grandmother. His relationship to God is one of a deeply devoted daily talk with his Heavenly Father. If he was raised Catholic, he would probably be a priest. Dillan doesn't look for ways to get back at people who would harm him or his family, but he leaves that up to God's judgment. His chief virtues are self-control, purity of thought and actions, and kindness. (I think if I were part of that community, I would probably fall deeply in love with Dillan.)
