Josette Wengart Walters

Introduction and Bio

Josette Wengart Walters was born in 1977 as the first of five children to Herschel and Margana Wengart. She is known for her reserved yet warm personality, and it takes a lot to get her “riled up”.  Josette is observant, dependable, empathetic, encouraging, and trustworthy, with a dry but friendly sense of humor. She enjoys being in nature, gardening, and spending time outdoors, maintaining good health and stamina. She dislikes lazy, unproductive people and those with hidden agendas.

She was blessed with an eidetic memory and musical talents, playing the flute and singing alto at family gatherings. Josie, her family’s affectionate name for her, is neat and well-groomed, standing at 5’ 7” with a slim athletic build, good posture, fair skin, a beautiful smile, strawberry blonde hair, and green eyes. Her wardrobe consists of feminine shirts, fashionable jeans, somewhat loose-fitting clothes, culottes, and long skirts for formal wear, preferable made from natural fibers.

Josette is a stay-at-home mom and works as a librarian during her children’s public school hours. She is devoted to her husband, Billy Walters, who is a vintner and owner of a family dynasty vineyard in Napa Valley, CA. Despite growing up in wealthy surroundings, Josette remains humble, soft-spoken, and generous. Her chief virtues are goodness, patience, and gentleness. She has a personal relationship with God, engaging in His Word daily and maintaining constant communication with Him, especially concerning the needs of her family.

Josie met Billy (William) Walters at the Big Sky County State Fair in Bozeman, followed by a family gathering at the home of long-time family friends in Montana. After Billy’s time in the US Navy from 1995 to 1999, and Josie’s university graduation with a degree in Library Science, they married in the summer of 2000 and have four children, two boys and two girls. Josette plants extensive vegetable, herb, and flower gardens and does other landscaping around their spacious home. She homeschooled her children through fifth grade before sending them to public school for middle and high school, encouraging higher education to help them achieve their own passions. She and Billy wanted to build a solid, well-rounded foundation for their children's education and teach them how to live and thrive in the “real world” as adults.
