Larmon has a great sense of humor and is an awesome storyteller. He can't stand phonies, game players, and anyone with evil intent trying to get away with breaking the law, though he knows how to handle them. A sharpshooter and marksman, he loves golf and tennis. Standing at 6'0", with a proud and confident bearing, he comes across like a knight in shining armor. Tanned and very handsome in a rugged cowboy way, his style is “stylish cowboy” – think Gentleman’s Quarterly when he dresses up.

He believes in justice with tempered mercy, upholding the law, and his passion is working with wood – he’s a creative carpenter. His lifelong dream was to become the Sheriff of Bozeman, Montana. He’s a mix of passive when needed, has hidden intensity, and can be aggressive when the situation calls for it. He's bold when necessary but always attentive to people’s needs. His relationship with God is strong and courageous – he waits on God's leading and is humble and obedient.

He's an excellent judge of character, navigating the complexities of human interactions with grace. With a warm, infectious smile, he commands attention and respect. His presence is comforting, like a steadfast oak. He loves nature, often finding solace in the Montana wilderness, where the whispering winds and rustling leaves seem to share their wisdom with him.

His loyalty is unwavering, and his friendships are built on trust and shared experiences. He sometimes doesn't talk much, but when he does, his words carry weight and wisdom. His laughter is uplifting, and his silences are filled with unspoken understandings. All these qualities endeared him to his wife, Julia Winthur, a strong, highly intelligent and capable woman. And Larmon, or “Larry” to his friends and family, loves her passionately and deeply. Together, they nurtured a warm and loving relationship with their sons, Jeffrey and Steven, and daughters, Margana and Cassandra.

In his downtime, you’ll find him in his workshop, turning rough timber into masterpieces. Each piece he creates shows his drive for expression and quiet passion. His hands, calloused from years of work, are both strong and gentle, capable of rugged strength and delicate precision. His four young children would spend afternoons with him in his workshop, learning the value of dedication, creativity and hard work.

His vision for Bozeman goes beyond the sheriff's office; he dreams of a community united by shared values and mutual respect. He’s a protector, a mentor, and a beacon of hope and integrity. Everything he does reflects the principles he holds dear, making sure justice and compassion go hand in hand. Walking through Bozeman, peace seems to follow him, reminding everyone that goodness still exists. He's a true example of leading with honor and humility.

His family is his anchor, providing unwavering support and love. He had a strong bond with his parents, who taught him the values of hard work, honesty, and respect. His father inspired him to serve the community and uphold the law. His mother, nurturing and kind, taught him the importance of perseverance and empathy.

He has a brother and a sister, both of whom share countless memories of growing up in Denmark, and then in Montana. His brother, equally passionate about justice, serves as a lawyer, while his sister captures the beauty of their homeland through her paintings.
