The Dern Kids

In childhood, Stephanie could be found surrounded by all her toy animals and dolls, playing the teacher. Her favorite pupil was Laurel, and her most exasperating student was her brother, Patrick, whom she loved and understood.

Laurel loved to sew, making all her dolls' clothes by hand. she loved to draw creative clothing designs, and one could see a bright future in fashion design. This continued and improved as she entered middle and high school.

Patrick's passion was playing doctor with Stephanie and Laurel's toys and dolls, much to their disapproval. He always knew he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up, although his parents had to manage his ADHD, which made him even more animated.
